Why we started Battle Angels Boxing
We’re parents first. We homeschool our two boys, and we’ve watched them grow into young men who need real structure, discipline, and challenge to thrive.
But every “martial arts” or self-defense program we tried was overcrowded, under-coached, and built to babysit — not build strong kids. Classes with 30+ students, one instructor, and no real path for growth. Same basics repeated over and over because there were always new kids joining.
Our boys weren’t being coached… they were being managed.
Boxing in the Flathead Valley hasn’t been better — gyms come and go, no consistency, lots of brawling, no technical foundation, no long-term development. Our boys deserved more than chaos, inconsistency, and “occasional physical activity.”
So we built the program our sons — and kids like them — needed.
